Bayview Travel is an independently owned travel agency located in Brighton, Melbourne who specialise in leisure and corporate travel .

After being an independent travel broker in New Zealand for 23 years, I joined Bayview Travel in 2013 and became part of a successful travel team specialising in tailor made travel experiences.

With a passion for travel, theatre and fashion, Bayview Travel has been a perfect platform for me to indulge and impart my knowledge and experience to clients and be instrumental in making their travel dreams and desires become a reality.

Penni Mason

Having spent many years specialising in ski holidays in the northern hemisphere, I have a deep passion for the wintery slopes of America, Canada & Europe. 

One of my favorite areas would have to be the Trois Vallees in France, which showcases magnificent scenery in both winter and summer, with unsurpassed quality of snow from December through to the end of April. On the flip side, I have intricate knowledge of travel throughout Asia and some of its more out of the way destinations.

Tracey Williams

Although I have had a passion for travel from a young age, it kicked into overdrive the first day I arrived in London. Over the next 4 years I took every opportunity to travel throughout Europe, including Scandinavia and Russia, but fell in love with Italy (who wouldn’t). With extensive travels through Asia and an affection for Indochina, in recent years, my interest has been piqued by more obscure destinations.  Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia and Armenia have endless histories and culture on offer to the intrepid traveller, and my journeys there have only encouraged my thirst for more.

But then again it’s hard to go past the hectic nature of the great cities of the world like New York, or witnessing true nature of a pride of 35 lions or even the beehive domes of Australia’s own Bungle Bungles.

There is just so much to experience and enjoy around the world, and I look forward to helping you navigate your travel requirements to fulfill your travel dreams.

Josie McPaul

I have been travelling since I first moved overseas with my parents at age 14, and I have worked in travel for my entire working life - almost half of that with Bayview Travel.  I have been lucky enough to visit and live in some amazing places and do some extraordinary things – some of which I would love to share with you, as I also love to tell a good story!

My favourite places in the world are Iceland, Colombia, Italy and the Kimberley, but basically I adore anywhere with an interesting history. I love to find out how things got to how they are now, and I have never met a museum that I did not like.

I really enjoy things which are a bit different and not mainstream – tasting strange food, trying out different languages, talking with the locals to find out about their lives and how they see the world - generally having strange experiences in strange places!

Chris McGetrick

Having worked in the Travel industry most of my adult life, I have travelled the world widely and can relate to all travellers and their interests.

As a young man I was consumed with adventure travel and getting to those far flung out of the way places, and doing so on a budget.

When a family arrived the focus moved away from my own interests towards holidays the entire family would enjoy.

The logistics of travelling with small children are always more difficult than travelling alone or in a pair, and I have learned a lot over the years I can share with my clients.

More recently I have also enjoyed luxury travel, particularly since we joined Virtuoso 10 years ago. This is a highly specialised field the planning of which should not be left to chance.

So whatever your stage in life, I would delighted to share with you my expertise and experience.

Wendy Jacks

I started my travel life way back with Ansett as an air hostess then in Ansett Reservations.

This led to consulting in one of the first agencies in Australia to use a computer reservations system, the Qantas system at the time Qantam, and in following years systems of many different airlines.

Eventually I joined Air Niugini in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands training staff and looking after mining movements, corporate and personnel, for Bougainville Copper Ltd and OK Tedi Mining Ltd.

I left the industry for a while raising children and, while living in Lao PDR with my family, I travelled quite extensively in the south east Asian area.  

Now I’m back , still an avid traveller, working in the great atmosphere of Bayview Travel and ready to help in any way I can with your arrangements.

Lorraine Henderson

I have always having a love for travel.  I started working in the industry in 2012, and with Bayview Travel in 2016, in the role of Accounts Manager.

I have seen much of Australia with my family by 4WD and Camper Trailer and have enjoyed overseas holidays too, with a special fondness for Club Med Holidays.

When I am not looking after the finance for Bayview Travel, I can be found nurturing my garden and enjoying the rural life with my dogs, cows and chickens!
