And what’s more, most areas of the world are accessible by ship. So if its luxury expedition cruising in the Antarctic, family fun holidays on the new mega-ships, river cruising on the Danube, the Yangtze, the Amazon or anything in between, I’m sure I can help out. Cruising is such a wonderful addition to a travel itinerary. It can be the destination or the journey.

As far as my own favourite destinations are concerned, I have a very long list! It’s hard to go past French Polynesia, with its exotic mix of French charm and Pacific beauty. Mediterranean Europe is also close to my heart. I love the stunning and varied architecture in southern Spain and Turkey, and the carefree holiday lifestyle in France and Italy. For a bit more adventure, some jaw dropping scenery and a complete contrast of cultures, I’m very fond of South America. It’s a big world out there...
